• Purpose - for song? Album? Artist/band? Record Company?
• How can a promo create a 'brand image' for a performer?
• Conventions? Camera work? Editing? Sound? Mise-en-scene? Narrative? Representation?
• Where can music promos be exhibited?

A music video promotes the product, it gets the band known and out there and it makes people aware of the band so that the band gets money and the record company more money

There didn’t used to be websites like youtube or band websites so TV programmes like top of the pop where they would either play on a stage or have a music video.
